Meet Our New Customer Support & Logistics Manager
Kerafast team member Carlos Guerra recently moved from Boston to sunny San Diego, California. We were sad to say goodbye, but are very excited to welcome William Vezinaw as our new Customer Support & Logistics Manager.
William comes to Kerafast from the University of Rochester, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences-molecular genetics and then worked for the biology department. Now, if you call or email Kerafast customer service, you are likely to talk to William. We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce him and his role at Kerafast.
William, what are your main responsibilities on the Kerafast team?
I facilitate the processes of ordering and shipping Kerafast products. Sending out quotes and answering the phone are also a small but important part of my day. Mainly though, you will see my handiwork answering questions and in the shipping boxes customers receive with their orders.
Why were you interested in working at Kerafast? What are you hoping to take away from this position?
The opportunity to use my set of skills to help facilitate better scientific research was too good to pass up. I will expand my knowledge of biological science and continue to flex my logistical muscles so I could make any future department run smoothly and efficiently.
What activities do you like to do outside of work?
I am an avid movie goer, book reader, museum patron and actor. I hope when I get more settled in Boston I can find a small local production to start my life on the stage anew.
As you know, Kerafast’s mission is to advance life science research by facilitating access to unique bioreagents. Are there any other causes whose mission you are passionate about?
I think that child illiteracy is a problem I am most suited to help with, as reading is a large passion of mine, and people reading is so critical to our society.
