Here at Kerafast, we recently welcomed a new member to our product management team. Molly Adams, a third-year bioengineering student at Northeastern University in Boston, joined the company in January as a Product Specialist. She’ll be with us as a full-time co-op student until the summer.

As a Kerafast Product Specialist, Molly works on the production and documentation of reagents. She helps make reagents available to the Kerafast community by collecting technical details about the products, recording their essential characteristics, and adding the new materials and supporting documentation to the Kerafast website. She also works in our in-house laboratory, managing product inventory and producing new antibodies and cell lines to meet customer demand.

During her co-op, Molly is excited to learn about project management, hone her lab abilities, and add new skills such as HTML coding. “I was excited to experience the start-up environment and to be able to work on both the lab side and the business side of the company,” she said about joining Kerafast.

Outside of school and work, Molly writes and directs for Northeastern University’s video production club. She enjoys cooking, reading and yoga, and is also passionate about empowering and educating girls. “As a woman in engineering,” she said, “I am especially interested in helping girls succeed in traditionally underrepresented fields.”
